Apple Stamping Collage by: Brooklin Brooks

This is a great activity to use for practicing patterns or to just allow students to be creative. This is great to do during apple season in the fall.

Materials:
-apples cut horizontally
-paper (it works best when you use pourous paper such as construction paper instead of poster board)
-non-toxic paint in various colors
-paper plates
-paper towels/wipes

Procedure:
-Pour the different colors of paint into different paper plates

-Take the apples and allow the students to stamp the apples into the paint.

-Allow students to be creative and stamp the apples onto their paper.
Have the students to stamp all around their paper overlapping the paint to create a collage. Show the students an example that you have already completed.

-Then you are finished with a beautiful piece of artwork!!
