This is a neat way to recycle broken crayons or just to make coloring more fun.
Note: Children will need the assistance of an Adult!!!
Supplies:
Crayola Crayons
Silicon baking trays (1 Snowflake design and 1 Gingerbread design)
Optional: You may add some variety by adding glitter to the crayons before they melt.
Step: 1
Preheat your oven to 250 degrees.
Step 2
Remove all the paper is off of the crayons.
Add broken crayons to the molds in any color combination that you desire.
Fill the trays at least 1/2 to 2/3 full to keep from breaking on removal.
Step 3
Place in oven and check in about 10 minutes.
When completely melted GENTLY remove the trays so the colors do not mix.
Step 4
Allow to cool then carefully remove from the molds.
These are super cute and can make great gifts for your little aspiring artists!
